Scholarship for economics students writing a C- or D-level dissertation
At Kortio, we offer a finance scholarship for students specialising in economics. The aim is both to support students and to promote knowledge and understanding of the financial market, including personal finance, business finance, debt, and physical and digital payment solutions.
Are you writing a C- or D-level essay on economics? If so, you have the chance to receive the Kortio Finance Scholarship.
This is an essay scholarship aimed at promoting general knowledge of economics. We are targeting students writing essays at C or D level in the subject of economics. The prize is 5,000 SEK.
Who can apply?
– You are writing a C or D level dissertation related to economics.
– You are writing for one of the following: study abroad, a bachelor’s, master’s or postgraduate dissertation
How to apply
You can apply for the grant by filling in the form further down this page. You will also need to attach a document describing your idea. The winner for the autumn term of 2025 will be selected by us at Kortio and announced on our website in early 2026.
– The essay does not need to be finished at the time of application; a well-formulated and detailed outline is sufficient – the essay itself can be submitted once it is complete.
– If two or more of you are writing the essay together, you may apply as a group, in which case the prize money will be shared between the participants.
Rules
– The essay must be written at C or D level and deal with economics
– The scholarship is worth 5,000 Swedish kronor
– The jury consists of employees at Kortio.se and its decision is final –
The winner agrees that their first name and surname may be published on Kortio
