Travel grant from Swedbank’s Ägarstiftelse Väst

Swedbank, in collaboration with Swedbank’s Ägarstiftelse Väst, has allocated SEK 50,000 for the university to award to students travelling abroad as part of their studies. The funds are to be distributed as two grants of SEK 25,000 each.

The University intends to award these two grants for travel and exchange programmes lasting longer than eight weeks. Undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible.

Scholarships are awarded during the admissions process for exchange studies, in which all applicants for exchange places under any of the University’s exchange agreements will be considered. Students who are awarded funding through any of the other grant programmes administered by the University (such as Erasmus+, for example) will not be considered; only those students who have applied for places where no other form of funding is available will be considered for assessment. This assessment is based on the letter of motivation attached to the exchange application.

Should the grant be awarded, the recipient undertakes to be present to receive it at the closing ceremony and is expected to give a brief account of their experience.

It is advantageous if the student incorporates one of the global goals of Agenda 2030 into their planned study programme abroad.
